Please see the following items highlighting upcoming events:
|April 2nd – Half-Day – Dismissal at 11:30 AM
April 5th – 9th – Spring Break
From the Attendance Office – Information/Reminders:
Students who chose in-person learning will only be approved for virtual instruction if the absence is due to COVID-related quarantine and illnesses (student, family, class, etc.). Students will not be able to move freely between in-person and virtual learning or use virtual learning if they are on vacation, etc.
What if an in-person student is out and logs on to virtual learning are they marked present?? Or do they have to complete the warm-up to be counted present?? An in-person student cannot log in virtually to be counted present, unless they are quarantined by HCPS or a doctor, or it’s a special circumstance approved by an Admin. Those are the only exceptions!

Each year, Henrico County Public Schools requests input from families, staff, and students regarding their experiences in their school and within the school division as a whole. This is done through a survey. This information is very important to us in identifying what we are doing well and what needs improvement or change here at the school and the division level.
The survey is open from now until April 2, and you can access the survey directly from the HCPS website by clicking on the survey link below:
The parent/guardian survey is available online in English and Spanish with an optional audio feature that reads the questions aloud for clarity. The survey is also available in additional languages in printed form. Please contact us here at the school if you need a printed survey.
Additional information about the survey is available on the HCPS website: HCPS Survey Information.
When you complete the survey online, you can choose to enter an optional drawing for prizes. In addition, the school with the highest participation rate in each magisterial district will receive funding for staff development activities, sponsored by the Henrico Education Foundation. We would love to be the recipient of those extra funds!
Most of all, your feedback is very important to us. We would like to hear from every one of our families, as each of you has a unique perspective and your own ideas to share.
Thank you in advance for completing the survey and for your continued support.
Have a great weekend!!!
