Important information regarding tryouts and the season will be outlined by the athletic director and coaches at informational meetings before the fall, winter and spring seasons.

Before trying out or participating in any sport, there are several forms that must be completed and turned in to the coaches. You must have a completed Henrico County physical form dated AFTER May 1, 2021 to try out for any sport , as well as a concussion form and an acknowledgment and consent form.

Fall Sports: girls basketball, boys’ soccer, football, and girls tennis, and Cheerleading. Tryouts for the Fall Season will start on Thursday, September 9^th with a completed sports physical submitted to the school. Forms and schedules can be found under the Parents Information Tab. There will be a fall sports parent meeting on Tuesday 9-7-21 at 4 pm in the auditorium.

First Winter Sports: wrestling and boys’ basketballSecond Winter Sport: gymnasticsSpring Sports: girls and boys track, softball, baseball, boys’ tennis, and girls’ soccer.

After school athletics may be canceled at times. These cancellations will be covered on the afternoon announcements at HCMS.

According to HCPS policy, when early dismissal occurs for schools, all athletic events are cancelled.
